Types of Dubai Visit Visa Egyptian Citizens Can Apply For

Many types of visas are offered by the authorities in the UAE to Egyptian citizens. Which one you should apply for depends on the duration of your stay and its purpose.

  • You may opt for the 96-hour short-duration visa that has a validity of only 4 days. These visas are non-extendable and are ideal for those visiting the UAE on a short trip. These visas cost around USD 55.00.
  • If you are a tourist, you may apply for the 30-day short-term single entry tourist visa. Costing around USD 60, these visas are valid for 30 days from the day you arrive in the UAE. These visas can also be extended.
  • At USD 220, you may opt for the multiple entry short-term visa. Valid for 30 days from the day you enter the UAE the first time, these are extendable visas that let you move in and out of the UAE multiple times.
  • For those looking to stay in the UAE longer, the 60 day single entry visa is ideal. These visas are valid for 60 days from the day you arrive in the UAE. These cost around USD 210, and they are extendable as well.
  • A long-term multiple-entry visa is also available that’s ideal if you need to travel in and out of the UAE multiple times while you are still staying there. These visas too can be extended, and they cost around 425 USD.

Other Rules and Regulations

There are certain rules and regulations you need to adhere to when you apply for a visa to the UAE from Egypt.

  • When applying for the visa, you must pay the full visa fee. Failure to do so will result in the immigration authorities considering your visa application incomplete.
  • Under no circumstances will the visa fees be refunded if you do not use the visa for any reason.
  • The processing of the application typically takes 3-4 working days from the day you submit the application
  • You can enter the UAE only after the UAE immigration authorities approve your visa.
  • Make sure you arrive in Dubai within 60 days of the visa being issued, regardless of the visa type.
  • The only exception is the 96-hour visa, which requires you to land in the UAE within 30 days of the visa being issued.
  • Thus, failing to comply with these regulations will result in your visa expiring, and in such a case, you will need to initiate the visa processing process again
