Your Dubai Itinerary: 6 Days, Done Right

Day 1 – Land and Settle In

Our team is there assisting you the moment you get off the plane. We handle your airport transfers, so there’s no taxi queue stress or figuring out which direction the Metro goes. Check in your hotel, get some rest. As the sun sets, get ready to experience the Dhow Cruise in the Dubai Marina. Dinner on the water, the city lights on both sides, the skyline reflected in the creek, it’s the kind of first evening that makes you glad you came.

Day 2 – The City From Every Angle

The day when you will cover the landmarks of the city, the Heritage Village, the old souks, and the Creek. You will get to see how the city is layered, old and new, side by side. The highlight of the day is the Burj Khalifa. Up on the 124th floor, you stand at 454 meters and watch the entire city laid below you. The desert blends into the suburbs, the Marina curls around the coast, the Gulf glitters in the distance. A king of a view that makes you go quiet for a minute. Book this in advance; TravelSaga includes it in the package, so you don’t have to worry about it.

Day 3 – Into the Desert

No Dubai travel package is complete without a desert safari Dubai, and this is the day. We’ll pick you up from your hotel in the afternoon and head to the dunes for dune bashing, camel rides, sandboarding, and a sunset camp experience. A proper BBQ spread dinner is served under the open sky. Enjoy the meal, the warmth of the fire, and watch the stars away from the city lights. Come back late and get some goodnight’s sleep.

Day 4 – Yours to Shape

Day four is your day; you get to shape it however you like. Dubai has more going on than six days can hold, so we leave this one day open. If you want to head to theme parks IMG World of Adventure, Motiongate, Legoland). You can even spend time at Jumeirah Beach, the Gold Souk, or the Dubai Aquarium. Whatever it is you’ve been thinking about doing since you’ve landed, today is the day of it.

Day 5 – Abu Dhabi Day Trip

Just an hour’s drive away from Dubai, which most people skip. Abu Dhabi is quieter, more spacious, and has one of the most beautiful buildings on earth. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque offers marble floors, a chandelier you can’t quite take in all at once, and a courtyard that reflects the sky. The Abu Dhabi city tour also takes you along the Corniche and ends with a visit to Ferrari World, home to the world’s fastest roller coaster. Head back to Dubai as the sun sets

Day 6 – Slow Morning, Then Go

This is the last day of your 5 nights 6 days Dubai tour package, the day when we say our goodbyes. But don’t worry, most flights from Dubai leave in the evening or late at night. Have a proper breakfast. Get dates, saffron, and oud from the souk if you haven’t already. Walk the Marina one more time. By the time you complete this, it’s check-out time and head towards the airport with the satisfaction that you didn’t just pass through Dubai, you actually spent time during your visit.

A Few Things Worth Knowing Before You Go

Best time to visit Dubai:

November to March is the best time to visit Dubai. The city has pleasant weather, and everything is running at full swing.  If you are looking to save some money during your travel, visit during the summer. But keep in mind the heat is intense, so plan indoor attractions. Meanwhile, April, May, and October sit nicely in between.

Dress Code:

Wear loose, light clothing for most of the trip. Be mindful to cover up at mosques, religious sites, and traditional areas. Swimwear is strictly for the beach and the pool.

Getting Around:

TravelSaga covers your airport transfers and all shared transport for the included tours. For free days, the Dubai Metro is an excellent choice. Taxis and Uber work everywhere.

Currency:

The currency is the UAE Dirham (AED). Cards are accepted almost everywhere. Keep a little cash for the souks, abra rides, and street food.

Language:

Arabic is the official language, but English is spoken everywhere without any issue. For more travel inspiration, attractions, and updated event information, visit the official Dubai tourism portal by Visit Dubai.
