Things to Know about Greece Visa from Dubai

  • There’s no need for a UAE citizen to acquire a visa to enter Greece if they have no plans of staying there for more than 90 days. To stay longer, they’ll need to apply for long-term national visas or short-term Schengen visas for comparatively shorter stays that are still more than 90 days
  • Visa-free entry into Europe shall see modifications in November 2023. All citizens exempted from acquiring a visa to enter any of the nations party to the Schengen Agreement shall have to register with the ETIAS which is a visa waiver scheme for non-EU citizens. Individuals must complete the ETIAS application form available for download from the internet. The system sends a notification to all applicants via email, and it electronically links the visa waiver to their passports.
  • The ETIAS waiver allows the applicant to visit any of the Schengen nations. However, they shall have to enter the Schengen area through the selected country which shall be their first entry point which on this instance is Greece. We request all applicants to apply for the ETIAS waiver at least 96 hours before they schedule their journey.
  • The waiver has a validity of 3 years and within this 3-year period, the applicant (UAE citizen) can visit Greece and stay there for 90 days each any number of times they want to irrespective of their purpose of visit. The ETIAS form comes at AED 25 or 7 Euros. Those who are minors and those above 70 needn’t pay the fee
  • If the applicant intends to travel to multiple Schengen countries, they shall have to apply for the country they shall be staying in the longest. If the period of stay at all the countries shall be the same, the applicant shall have to apply for the country they will be landing at first.
