Seems like a scene out of a war movie. This is an abandoned IL-76 Russian cargo aircraft, located near the Barracuda Beach Resort. At one point, this used to be a spot for skydiving. This plane was used by the Soviet air force from the 1970s till the 1990s. in the late 1990s, it operated as a charter plane in the emirate for a few years and was abandoned thereafter. Now, it serves as a photo opp for tourists.
