After your arrival, just take a rest for some time, freshen up, and with a fresh mind, get ready to start your Vietnam family trip. Your first destination will be Hanoi, which is the capital city of Vietnam. Explore cultural heritage and history by visiting places like the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.

Visit the Old Quarter, which is famous for its arts and crafts, and also admire the beauty of the narrow houses. Apart from this, you should visit the Temple of Literature because of its immersive beauty and architecture, and experience Hanoi Train Street, where you can sip a cup of coffee while witnessing the train passing through the narrow streets very close to you. At night, you can take a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, or you can just sit and enjoy nature. And, if you are a fan of drinks and street food, then visiting Ta Hien Street is a must.

Days 2 and 3: Ha Long Bay

Ha Long Bay

After your day 1, visit Halong Bay, which is just a 3-hour journey from Hanoi. At Halong Bay, if you want to see a whole different universe, then dive into the coral reefs and have a look at the marine creatures like starfish, sea horses, and sea turtles. Since you are with your family, you can also book a boat and experience it at a slow speed. Doesn’t matter if you’re not an experienced kayaker; you should experience kayaking and feel the sound of the waves while admiring the beauty of nature.

Moreover, you can also spend quality time with your family at some of the popular beaches like Ti Top Island Beach and Soi Sim Beach. Apart from this, you can also try water sports activities. Don’t miss out on viewing the bay from the Queen cable car if you want an amazing nightlife experience. It offers a panoramic view of the city, and you will feel like you’re stepping into a beautiful painting. At last, enjoy delicious seafood under the stars.

Day 3 and 4: Da Nang

Da Nang

For two days, your next destination will be Da Nang, and to reach there, you can take a flight from Hanoi. Just go to the hotels you have booked and take some rest. After this, try out local cuisines and get ready to visit Ba Na Hills. First, take a walk on the Golden Bridge; it surely will feel magical, and just feel the mountain air, not just take a walk from one point to another.

If your kids are with you, then you must visit Ba Na Hills theme park, where you can explore the French village, the fantasy park, and the rides as well.

Next morning, start your day by climbing up to the marble mountain and get ready for the cave discoveries. For lighting up your instagram Huyen Khong is a must-visit. Apart from this, you can also visit Linh Ung Pagoda and Tam Thai Pagoda.

Experience perfect golden sunlight at My Khe Beach, which is surrounded by coconut trees. Just spend some time there and cherish the two days that you have spent at Da Nang.

Day 5 and 6: Hoi An

Hoi An

For exploring Hoi An, 2 days is all you need. On your first day, just have a walk around the neighbourhood and get to know more about the places from the locals. After this, rent a car to travel comfortably to An Bang Beach. Before relaxing on the beach, just spend some time exploring the stalls. After that, you can chill on the golden sand of the beach. In the evening, everything will be more beautiful, and the town will glow under the lights of lanterns. Finally, don’t forget to pick up the souvenirs at the night market.

On day 2, start your morning by heading to Banh Mi for a delightful breakfast. Then visit Bay Mou Coconut Forest and hop on the round basket boat and glide through the narrow water channels shaded by the tall coconut trees. Enjoy the scenic view and feel the joy when the fishermen suddenly spin their boats. End your day with a riverside dining with modern Vietnamese at Mango Mango.
